The Bushby name is synonymous with Launceston Real Estate and greater Launceston. It originated back in 1914 when George Bushby purchased an existing business from Albert Field.

Since those days the business has been owned and operated continuously by members of the Bushby family. Today brothers Phillip and Mark Bushby are carrying on the 90 year-old-family tradition. Phillip has been involved in the business all his working life since starting as a cadet. Mark joined the firm in 1988 working in property management and then moved into the sales area. In 2004, Eric Andersen became the first, outside the family, to join as a Shareholder/Director.

Although the business is the oldest continuously operated family real estate business in Tasmania, it is our philosophy to stay at the front of the industry. We accomplish this by adopting new technology which helps us give clients more efficient service and with comprehensive staff training in all areas of the real estate process.
